On this news, MiMedx stock fell $2.21 per share, to close at $3.85 per share on September 4, 2013. More recently, on December 31, 2014, MiMedx announced that it received a subpoena from the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services regarding an investigation into some of the company’s sales and marketing activities, causing the company’s stock to drop $1.79 per share, or 15%, to close at $9.74 on January 2, 2015.
