Six Flags Entertainment Corporation Investigation

Robbins LLP is Investigating the Officers and Directors of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (FUN) for Breaches of Fiduciary Duty and Violations of Securities Laws

Robbins LLP is investigating Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN) to determine whether certain Six Flags’ officers and directors violated securities laws and breached fiduciary duties to shareholders. Six Flags operates amusement parks and resort properties in North America.

Why Are We Investigating Six Flags?

On October 13, 2026, the Wall Street Journal published an article, ‘Six Flags Closes Several Rides After Georgia Roller-Coaster Death,” which stated that the Company “was shutting down similar attractions across its parks after several people were injured.” Specifically, police found Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, 42 years old, under the Goliath roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia just before 4 p.m. Monday. He was unresponsive and not breathing, according to the Cobb County Police Department. Investigators believe Kariem was ejected from the ride and struck other passengers before falling to his death, based on interviews with witnesses and theme-park employees.

Six Flags has recently faced scrutiny over the safety record associated with another of its attractions: the X2 coaster at its Magic Mountain park in Southern California. Multiple lawsuits alleged that the coaster caused serious brain injuries. Six Flags permanently closed that ride last month.

Shares in Six Flags fell approximately 14.4% on October 13, 2026.
